Anya Bandt, MD

Anya Bandt, MD, FAAD, FACMS is a leading dermatologist who is dedicated to enhancing skin health and beauty at all stages of life. Her office is conveniently located in San Rafael, Marin County  California, and she offers her valued patients personalized care and the highest quality treatments. Dr. Bandt's practice is proud to be physician-led and not affiliated with a larger corporation. 

Dr. Bandt received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in California. She further pursued medical training at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She completed her internal medicine internship at Harbor-UCLA in Torrance, California, focusing on surgery, and went on to complete a dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where she was appointed chief resident. 

Driven by her passion for providing comprehensive skin care, Dr. Bandt pursued a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery — an area encompassing a wide array of surgical and nonsurgical skin cancer treatments and reconstructive procedures.

As a double board-certified dermatologist in general dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery, Dr. Bandt brings a wealth of expertise to her practice. Her extensive experience includes cosmetic dermatologic procedures, such as laser treatments, scar revision, dermal fillers, and mole removal. 

Dr. Bandt stays at the forefront of her field through active participation in international, national, and local medical societies. She consistently updates her knowledge by attending conferences and brings the latest advancements in dermatology to her patients.

With a passion for skin health, Dr. Bandt has also developed her own line of skin care products, probiotics, and supplements for her patients.
